Logistics Coordinator

BANFF LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Dispatch Logistian to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments, and performing routine clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of logistics operations.
- Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and report preparation.
- Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including inventory levels, shipment status, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate work records and logs, including inventory levels, shipment status, and other relevant metrics.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and providing customer service.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders, including inventory levels, shipment status, and other relevant metrics.
- Project manage logistics operations, including coordinating with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Train workers in duties and policies, including logistics procedures and protocols.
- Arrange training for staff, including logistics training and other relevant topics.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work, including logistics operations and other relevant tasks.
- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, including road closures, construction, and other hazards.
- Keep track of shipments, including inventory levels, shipment status, and other relevant metrics.
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, including customs clearance and other relevant procedures.
- Maintain vehicle operator work records, including hours worked, mileage, and other relevant metrics.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, including inventory levels and shipment status.
- Respond to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations and require assistance.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, including logistics operations and other relevant tasks.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking inventory levels, shipment status, and other relevant metrics.
- Establish work schedules and procedures, including logistics operations and other relevant tasks.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, including logistics operations and other relevant tasks.
