Job Title: Registered X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. As a key member of our Diagnostic Services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic services examinations within the specific modalities and disciplines. You will guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment, providing patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform diagnostic services examinations within the specific modalities and disciplines.
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment.
  • Provide patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.
  • Rotate through other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology.
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Professional designation of Registered Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration.
  • Experience in a similar hospital environment with CT preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development.
