About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys and maintain high standards of food quality
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient resource allocation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and exceed customer expectations
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members
    • Establish work schedules and ensure effective team communication
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands
    • Physically demanding role requiring standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Client focus and ability to work in a team environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
