Job Title: Assembler
Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time
Department: Engineered Products: Shunt Trip, Enclosed Disconnect Switches, Breaker Panels
Location: Mississauga
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and upkeep of component parts and products.
- Utilize hand tools for the assembly and wiring of electrical components.
- Employ power tools and machinery for drilling, tapping, and cutting tasks.
- Interpret technical documents, including drawings and written instructions.
- Collaborate with team members and adhere to daily operational procedures.
- Identify and manage defective items according to established protocols.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines within the workplace.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas and equipment.
- Support other departments as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical work is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions accurately.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to multitask.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
