About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Henrietta Florida - Mcclenny. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medication as prescribed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
