Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radioactive materials, and operating nuclear medicine equipment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring accurate identification and safety procedures.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment, maintaining established protocols and ensuring quality control assessments are performed as required.
- Administer radioactive materials, following established guidelines and regulations.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any unusual or abnormal cases to supervisors.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province.
- Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, good command of the English language, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
