Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MyHealth Centre. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and preparation, and maintaining quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including radio pharmaceutical preparation and quality management.
  • Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation procedures are correct before starting nuclear medicine examinations.
  • Monitor supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.
  • Set up and adjust nuclear medicine equipment, maintaining established protocol.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, good command of the English language, and excellent communication skills.
