About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at SKYWAY BRANDS REGINA INC. in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and maintain efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless airport operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a positive reputation for SKYWAY BRANDS REGINA INC.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit accurate budget and cost estimates, supporting informed business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Culinary Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring menu offerings meet customer expectations.
  • Supervision: Directly supervise 5-10 staff members, including food and beverage servers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate exceptional client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a strong team player mentality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
