Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Work Environment

This role is based in a fast food outlet or concession, requiring the ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
