Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the completion of projects in mechanical, electrical, and construction engineering, working closely with our sales, engineering, procurement, and planning teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between clients, architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure a thorough understanding of technical parameters and project requirements.
  • Review contracts and technical quotes to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including drafting correspondence and managing communication between Gala, clients, subcontractors, and internal employees.
  • Prepare schedules, budgets, and cash flows for assigned projects and monitor their progress.
  • Manage administrative aspects of projects, including contract inclusion and compliance with contractual clauses.
  • Document project evolution, changes, and additions, and negotiate and manage contract changes.
  • Resolve design, procurement, production, and installation issues, ensuring compliance with local standards and regulations.
  • Participate in project estimation, collaborating with the estimation and sales team.
  • Coordinate the hiring of subcontractors and equipment rental, including necessary insurance.
  • Prepare post-project evaluations and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering or relevant experience in one of these fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, including 2 years in project management.
  • Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong relational skills, demonstrated in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team player.
