About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Technician to join our team at UV Designs Inc. as a key contributor to our design and production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Artwork Production: Create high-quality artworks using hand lettering techniques, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to client specifications.
  • Design and Layout: Design and layout pages for various projects, utilizing creativity and technical skills to produce visually appealing results.
  • Pattern Creation: Develop stencil patterns and set type for printing, requiring strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Project Design: Produce project designs that meet client expectations, working closely with the graphic designer to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Digital Imaging: Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Layout and Placement: Perform the layout, page make-up, and placement using conceptual mock-ups provided, requiring strong organizational and technical skills.
  • Computerized Images: Create computerized images and drawings, utilizing technical skills and creativity to produce high-quality results.
  • Review and Feedback: Review the graphic designer's instructions and provide feedback, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality output.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
