Job Title: Graphic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Technician to join our team at AdWave Inc.

Job Description:

The Graphic Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality artworks using hand lettering techniques, transforming digitized images using retouching systems and graphic palettes, and designing and laying out pages for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce artworks using hand lettering techniques
  • Transform digitized images using retouching systems and graphic palettes
  • Design and layout pages for various projects
  • Mount and scan photographs
  • Make stencil patterns
  • Set type for printing
  • Produce project designs
  • Arrange for project printing and publication
  • Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems and graphic palettes
  • Perform the layout, page make-up and placement using conceptual mock-ups provided
  • Produce computerized images and drawings
  • Review the graphic designer's instructions
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Tight deadlines
  • Work under pressure
Work Environment:

The Graphic Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
