Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve patient care issues
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional education or certifications in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
