We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Acquisitions to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading due diligence and analysis of potential partner firms, utilizing a combination of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, as well as strong communication and emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that diligence efforts strike a balance between stakeholder needs (risk management, financial analysis, and business onboarding) and vendor experience and process speed.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business, including its revenues, client base, service model, and distribution channels, to identify potential risks and inform onboarding efforts.
- Conduct financial analyses, including determining the economics of the potential partner firm on a standalone basis and preparing financial forecasts as part of People Corporation.
- Scope the diligence project based on an initial understanding of the business.
- Ensure timely and efficient progress of the diligence project by leveraging and coordinating with relevant stakeholders and internal and external resources.
- Oversee supporting diligence workstreams such as IT, compliance, and tax.
- Ability to advance multiple workstreams under tight timelines while maintaining the quality of work product.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation of data-informed, nuanced analysis.
- Prior experience in due diligence engagements, transaction advisory services, corporate development, or capital markets.
- Post-graduate professional education such as CPA, CBV, CFA, MBA, or P.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
