Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at 2468765 Ontario Incorporated. This role involves various tasks related to the repair and painting of motor vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding areas that require repair.
  • Apply masking and taping techniques to protect areas not being painted.
  • Remove damaged components such as fenders and panels, and install replacement parts through bolting or welding.
  • Mix and apply primers, as well as repaint surfaces to restore vehicle aesthetics.
  • Blend and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
Certifications
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification is preferred.
Experience
  • Previous experience in working with doors and frames.
  • Proficiency in paint spraying techniques.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work conditions.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.

  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
