Job Overview: Environmental Project Coordinator
At EnviroEmplois, we are in search of an Environmental Project Coordinator to enhance our diverse team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of a variety of environmental initiatives, including impact assessments, field studies, permit submissions, and monitoring activities.
This position offers flexibility, with the option to work from various locations, accommodating candidates with a high degree of independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute environmental impact evaluations and associated research as part of a collaborative team
- Organize and participate in field studies as required
- Oversee the submission of environmental permits and necessary authorizations
- Draft proposals for services offered
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and project participants
- Lead the development of inventory reports, evaluations, and project documentation
- Ensure projects adhere to budgetary constraints and timelines, managing administrative tasks effectively
- Contribute to the creation of innovative tools and services
- Provide technical and regulatory guidance across various projects
- Collaborate with all departments within the organization to achieve project goals
- Advocate for and implement workplace health and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field in environmental management
- At least 4 years of pertinent experience
- Comprehensive understanding of local and national environmental regulations
- Willingness to travel to various sites as necessary
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities
- Team-oriented individual with initiative and self-sufficiency
