Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ginza Ichiban Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ordering as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing a clear and concise overview of restaurant operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
