Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Tony Hartt. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement engaging and educational activities for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities.
  • Health and Safety: Administer basic first aid and CPR as needed, and maintain accurate records of children's health and well-being.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's daily activities and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Certifications: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, full-time position working 40 to 44 hours per week. The work site environment is non-smoking, and the work setting is in the employer's home. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis.
