Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in dance education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in ballet instruction.
  • Specialization: Expertise in Classical and Modern Ballet.
Work Environment

This role is based in a vibrant dance academy setting, focusing on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain personal physical fitness and technical proficiency.
  • Prepare students for auditions and performances, ensuring they are stage-ready.
  • Instruct students in dance techniques and artistic expression.
  • Conduct rehearsals and practice sessions to refine dance routines.
  • Organize and oversee dance productions, including choreography and staging.
Certifications

Candidates must hold a Royal Academy of Dance Certification.

Performance Experience

Applicants should have participated in over 20 stage performances.
