We are seeking a highly skilled CO2 Refrigeration Engineering Specialist to join our engineering team at K Rp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our expanding CO2 product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop CO2 systems, ensuring a thorough understanding of CO2 refrigerant operations and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, CSA, ASHRAE) and produce comprehensive engineering documentation.
- Drive product innovation by leveraging expertise in CO2 systems to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Manage engineering Bill of Materials (BOMs) for designated product lines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Production Departments to optimize material usage and assembly processes.
- Engage in research and development initiatives, overseeing projects from concept to completion.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma/ Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of CO2 system manufacturing processes and materials.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
- CO2 application and/or design experience is considered an asset.
