We are currently seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to enhance our procurement strategies and processes. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring that our firm delivers outstanding service to our clients through effective procurement practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of procurement strategies that prioritize cost-effectiveness, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement policies aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Oversee national purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and relationship management.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and relevant legal standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various offices to align procurement efforts with operational requirements.
- Conduct market analysis to identify and assess potential suppliers based on their capabilities, pricing, and quality metrics.
- Analyze procurement data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline. A procurement certification, such as CPSM, is advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a procurement role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and identify trends for informed decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
