We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 12849682 Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial truck to transport goods and materials over long distances. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of organization, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Commercial Truck: Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials over long distances.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Possess expertise in driving in mountainous terrain, including navigating steep roads and inclement weather conditions.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads, working in a fast-paced environment, and sitting for extended periods.
