Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and evaluate the curriculum aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, specifically the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree and a B.Ed., with active membership in the Ontario College of Teachers, specializing in Primary or Junior education.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in teaching Homeroom classes.
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) is advantageous.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact positively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A proactive, flexible, and self-motivated approach to teamwork.
  • Proficiency in navigating a technology-rich educational environment, with familiarity in Google Workspace being a plus.
