  • Process cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, travelers cheques, short pays, over payments, and cash counts.
  • Monitor and report discrepancies and suspicious cash activities.
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash.
  • Sell racing tickets, vouchers, racing programs, and value chips as required.
  • Verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, cancelled credits, table fills, and credits.
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats.
  • Transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents.
  • Document and reconcile transactions, including bank deposits and revenue reports.
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments.
  • Build strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling.
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License.
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular casino and cage environment, standing or sitting for long periods, non-traditional work hours.
