Job Title: Patient Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Aide to join our team at PLAN IT CONSULTING INC.

Job Summary:

The Patient Care Aide will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide support as needed.
  • Perform personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to maintain patients' dignity and comfort.
  • Assist patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including their rooms and common areas.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a patient care or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
