THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate for the Lead Architectural Strategist role will possess a strong passion for design and a wealth of experience across diverse projects. This individual will have a proven ability to cultivate business opportunities, collaborate with teams, and build networks throughout Alberta. A deep understanding of the Alberta/Western Canadian market is essential, along with enthusiasm for engaging directly with clients across multiple sectors.

With a successful history of overseeing large-scale projects from concept to completion, you will be well-versed in the intricacies of the interior design field and adept at liaising with clients at an executive level to ensure their requirements are met while fostering new business relationships.

This individual will have a stake in the company and will be responsible for guiding their teams towards success on project objectives, as well as mentoring and leading a team of Architects throughout their assignments.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in Architecture/AAA Registered
  • 10+ years of experience in the Architecture, Design, and Engineering sectors within Western Canada on various projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams of Architects and mentoring staff to achieve their professional goals.
  • Strong business development capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset and a well-established network in the Alberta market.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and design experience within the industry, particularly in a consulting context.
  • A portfolio showcasing projects and designs within Canada that demonstrate design proficiency.
  • Familiarity with technical software such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, and REVIT is advantageous.
  • A meticulous approach to project management with a focus on team development and project execution.
  • High energy, innovative thinking, and a proactive approach to design and planning are essential.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
