Job Summary

The Sanitation Team Member - Manufacturing is responsible for assisting the Sanitation Operator with cleaning industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety programs, and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the cleanliness of equipment, machinery, floors, and utensils in production areas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Operate Sky Jack to clean hard-to-reach areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sanitation Team Leader.

Requirements

  • Desire to build a career in manufacturing and equipment sanitation.
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Scissor Lift license is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a sanitation environment using chemicals approved for CFIA is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal English communication skills.
  • Physically capable of performing the demands of the role.
  • Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction.
