We are a reputable childcare centre dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for children to grow and develop. We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to children in our centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily routines, engaging children in activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
  • Assist with planning and organizing activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
Work Environment

The Beautiful Daycare Ltd. is a non-smoking environment. The successful candidate will work in a child care centre located in an urban area.
