Business Systems Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of new enterprise systems, including SAP SuccessFactors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert enterprise analysis and business process transformation capabilities to identify requirements and define solutions.
  • Develop and implement new enterprise systems, including SAP SuccessFactors, to support business decisions.
  • Prepare project documentation, including business cases, request for proposal, decision requests, and change requests.
  • Author, review, and assist in the creation of deliverables, such as business requirements, conceptual prototyped designs, process models, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Conduct tests and log required defects in System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Validate converted data from legacy systems to SAP during mock conversion, dress rehearsal, and cutover timelines.
  • Act as the client liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings and/or workshop sessions with stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying gaps in future processes and developing resolutions.
  • Advise business areas on the application of information technology solutions to identify areas for refinement or streamlining.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a recognized Institute of Technology or University degree program in an appropriate specialty, such as computer science or related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience specializing in Business Analysis, including project experience in SAP implementations and robust, enterprise-scale applications or initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Workforce Software, AspireHR, and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll suite of products.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft, Org Plus, CARM, or other similar automated Payroll Information Systems to deliver payroll, benefits, and/or human resource services is an asset.
  • Proficiency with various Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency with various Google applications and work collaboration/management tools, such as Smartsheet.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Strong collaboration skills, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a policing/paramilitary organization, particularly in the area of enterprise-level project planning, is a significant asset.
  • Professional Designation in Business Analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA) from the IIBA or PMI is an asset.
  • Training in IT strategy design from a post-secondary institution is an asset.
