POSITION SUMMARY

As a Resort Cleaning Specialist, you will be tasked with the regular upkeep of resort facilities and accommodations, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of kitchen areas with necessary supplies, ensuring all dining surfaces are clean and in good condition.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize appliances to eliminate food residue, mold, and mildew. Defrost freezers as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, ensuring they are well-lit and equipped with safety mats.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Uphold the overall appearance of the resort, ensuring it is orderly and well-maintained.
  • Sweep, mop, wax, and buff floors as necessary to maintain cleanliness.
  • Ensure windows and screens are clean and in proper working order.
  • Maintain laundry facilities by cleaning surfaces and removing lint as needed.
  • Keep office spaces tidy and empty trash bins regularly.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel as a Resort Cleaning Specialist, you should be dependable, hardworking, and committed to delivering outstanding service. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • High School diploma or equivalent (some high school education required)
  • Previous experience in cleaning residential or large facilities is preferred
  • Familiarity with general cleaning practices
  • Understanding of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and internet usage
