Job Title: Senior Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at SS&C Technologies Holdings. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using Java, React, and.NET programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain SaaS applications using web, GraphQL, and RESTful services
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs to determine function requirements
  • Implement designs by utilizing development languages and tools per design specifications
  • Develop and execute unit testing to ensure high-quality code
  • Provide input into code specification development and adhere to software development standards
  • Troubleshoot complex problems or issues through in-depth analysis of variable data sets and factors

Requirements:

  • Computer Science/Engineer related Bachelor's degree; or Master's degree (recent graduate); or 5 years of equivalent work-related experience
  • Experience with source code management systems (e.g. Git)
  • Experience with Java, React,.NET or other programming languages
  • Developing and maintaining SaaS applications
  • Web, GraphQL, RESTful Services Development experience
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • A passion for continuous learning as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills
  • Able to work with a global team
  • Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Adheres to software development standards, processes and best practice
  • Good verbal and written communication (English)
  • Takes accountability and ownership of deliverables
  • Effective problem solving
  • Ability to foster an environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Focused on providing high quality deliverable
  • Knowledge of Financial Services experience also a plus
