We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing nursing practice, improving client outcomes, and leading quality and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes and quality of care.
- Lead quality and safety initiatives, including the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research and evaluation activities to inform practice and improve client outcomes.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
