Associate Vice-President, Finance: A Visionary Leader

The University of Regina seeks a seasoned financial leader to shape the financial future of the institution. As Associate Vice-President, Finance, you will lead all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, planning, budgeting, treasury, procurement, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial policies, ensuring accountability and compliance.
  • Manage the annual budget process, financial planning, and reporting, presenting to the Board of Governors.
  • Collaborate with Deans, Faculty Administrators, and Associate Vice Presidents to provide advice and propose solutions to maximize resources and efficiencies.
  • Oversee financial audits, maintaining accurate and transparent financial records.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on financial risk management and operational improvements.
  • Engage with government officials on budgeting and policy matters.

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a relevant Master's degree.
  • Current CPA designation.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior management experience within financial operations.
