Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Shaw Restaurants Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring a well-stocked and organized food service area.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in an urban area, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

The role requires the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a standing position for extended periods.
