Auberge du Pommier is on the lookout for a skilled Artisan Pastry Chef to enhance our culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting exquisite and innovative desserts that delight our patrons. Collaborating closely with the Executive Pastry Chef, you will uphold exceptional standards and contribute to a dessert menu that emphasizes ice creams, frozen delicacies, and gourmet doughnuts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations within the pastry kitchen
  • Demonstrate excellence in the preparation of premium pastry items
  • Maintain precise inventory records to manage costs effectively
  • Ensure all products are prepared in a timely manner
  • Reduce food waste through efficient practices
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions from guests
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in pastry preparation
  • Familiarity with contemporary presentation styles
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Team-oriented with the capability to work autonomously
  • Culinary degree is advantageous
  • Experience with ice cream and dough preparation is preferred
