Job Title: Truck Driver - Freight Specialist

FREIGHT5 is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Freight Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of safety and security.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods and materials with precision.
  • Oversee vehicle condition, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and valid passport.
  • Experience with GPS navigation equipment and trip recorders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods, including internationally.
