7 Wonders Homes & Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets and secure them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Tape joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth surface.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a proper fit.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently, and stand for extended periods. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Reliability and reliability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
