About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Bester Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand work requirements and execute tasks accordingly.
  • Carpentry and Assembly: Shape and assemble materials such as wood, steel, and other materials to construct foundations, floors, walls, and roofs.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware, and maintain and renovate structures in various establishments.
  • Physical Capabilities: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working under tight deadlines.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, reliability, and a willingness to work well in a team environment.
