Job Description

Course Overview

This course provides students with the fundamental techniques of graphic design, utilizing Adobe software and addressing composition, layout, file handling, visual impact, font and text integration, and legibility within a visual arts context.

Course Objectives

  • Develop students' understanding of graphic design principles and techniques
  • Enhance students' skills in using Adobe software for graphic design
  • Improve students' ability to create visually appealing compositions and layouts
  • Develop students' knowledge of typography and text integration
  • Enhance students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills in graphic design

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graphic design courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student work.

Requirements

A Master of Fine Arts or equivalent degree, established reputation and exhibition record in painting, drawing, and contemporary art, and teaching experience at the post-secondary level are required.

Additional Information

An acceptable level of education and/or experience may be viewed as equivalent to the required education and/or demonstrated experience.
