Welcome to goeasy, a prominent player in Canada's consumer lending sector, specializing in non-prime solutions. We are seeking a skilled Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to oversee our security event monitoring and incident management initiatives. Your extensive knowledge in firewall management and experience with platforms such as Cloudflare and Netskope will be crucial in enhancing our defenses against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily security event monitoring and incident response activities.
  • Deploy and manage Cloud web application firewalls, including Azure Front Door and Cloudflare.
  • Administer rules within Netskope Security Service Edge.
  • Lead Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule management and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) implementation.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to implement SD WAN solutions.
  • Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools, particularly Splunk Enterprise Security.
  • Conduct threat assessment and vulnerability management utilizing Tenable.
  • Independently analyze security incidents and provide mentorship to SOC analysts.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established processes.
  • Develop and refine processes to strengthen the Security Operations Framework.
  • Integrate both standard and non-standard logs into the SIEM.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office365 suite and security solutions like Sentinel One/Cylance.
  • Fundamental understanding of network routing and switching.
  • Microsoft Azure Certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include Cisco, Palo Alto, Security+, CISSP.
  • Desirable: Experience within a Security Operations Center.
