Job Overview
The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and proper inventory management of laboratory glassware, alongside the preparation of cleaning solutions and support for the Microbiology lab operations.
Work Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
Contract Duration: 18 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, categorize, and clean used laboratory glassware.
- Utilize the glassware washer in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify the cleanliness and replenish glassware supplies.
- Safely dispose of any broken glassware.
- Operate the waste autoclave following safety protocols.
- Comply with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge in the field.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper waste disposal practices.
- Provide assistance to team members as needed.
- Serve as a backup when required.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- At least a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Understanding of laboratory instruments and equipment.
