Senior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team at ABB's Measurement & Analytics division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams for the execution of design projects for analytical and remote sensing instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Coordination: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team for the execution of design projects for analytical and remote sensing instruments.
- Client Management: Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, maintaining a trustful relationship throughout the project phases and iterating on client requirements.
- Planning and Tracking: Collaborate with the project manager for strategic planning, execution, and cost tracking, while defining the effort levels required to achieve objectives.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure system compliance with standards and manage technical risks while ensuring adherence to intellectual property rules.
- Design and Development: Oversee the design, development, and performance tracking of the system, collaborating with the Integration and Test team for test plan development and verification strategies.
- Communication: Regularly conduct presentations in English and French to clients and the technical team during design reviews or other milestones.
- Team Management Experience: Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams with strong organizational and project planning skills.
- Technical Expertise: Expertise in developing infrared optical systems, with proficiency in tools such as Magic Draw, Windchill, Primavera Client, SAP, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in English and French, with the ability to influence and guide others to achieve common goals.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise project documentation.
- Technical Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a technical lead on projects, including technical coordination, requirement tracking, and the development of electro-optical systems.
- Certification: The candidate must have or plan to obtain a Level 2 security clearance under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
