We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Madina Halal Meat & Grocery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meats for sale. If you have a passion for working with meat and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Grind meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare special orders
As a Meat Cutter at Madina Halal Meat & Grocery, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
Requirements- Experience in a butcher shop or meat department is an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
- Reliability and punctuality
