Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Accounting and Accounting Managers to prepare month-end close activities, including reconciliation of ledger accounts, reviewing P&L statements, and recording accounting transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
- Reconcile ledger accounts and ensure the integrity of accounting records.
- Prepare and post journal entries during month-end close.
- Record and analyze accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and principles.
- Analyze and prepare statutory accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Document accounting projects and processes.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, or related field.
- 2+ years in a Senior Accountant/Analyst role.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Audit experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Solid understanding of databases and extracting information through SQL scripts.
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Holds CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
