Food Service Supervisor

At Days Inn Wainwright, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and prepare and submit reports.
- Establish work schedules, supervise 3-4 people, and maintain a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Health care plan.
- Permanent employment.
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
- English as the primary language of work.
