Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families, collaborating with other healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuously improve nursing care.
- Participate in hospital committees and research projects to advance clinical knowledge and skills.
This is a casual opportunity, with varying hours and shifts. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
About this Role:
- Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating between 07:00 and 19:00, or 19:00 and 07:00 hours.

The Slocan Community Health Centre is a residential facility attached to the 24/7 Emergency Unit and physicians' offices. Our resident-centred philosophy focuses on supporting residents' choices and promoting their well-being.
