We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Response Centre Specialist to join our Loss Prevention Operations team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring company locations via remote systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring that documentation meets established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect Company Assets: Safeguard all company assets and reduce losses through proactive monitoring and incident response.
- Remote Monitoring: Monitor designated company locations via remote systems, providing real-time support and incident response as needed.
- Dispatch and Communication: Provide dispatch information to emergency responders as appropriate, ensuring timely and effective response to incidents.
- Internal Customer Support: Provide support to internal customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Incident Reporting: Prepare incident reports and evidence packages to meet both company and legal standards, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Compliance Audits: Conduct daily assigned compliance audits, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Telephone Interviews: Conduct telephone interviews as required, gathering information and resolving issues in a professional and effective manner.
Qualifications
- Security Worker License: Possess a current provincial security worker license with a security guard designation.
- First Aid and WHIMS Training: Hold current First Aid and WHIMS training certifications.
- Technical Skills: Possess a basic working knowledge of computers, networks, and security systems, including CCTV, remote video, and access control.
- Criminal Code Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of criminal code sections applicable to Loss Prevention and protocols pertaining to the collection and handling of evidence.
- Loss Prevention Experience: Possess working knowledge of retail loss prevention and security practices.
- Education: Education in the areas of criminology, emergency management, justice, or security management is an asset.

- Interviewing Skills: Demonstrate ability to interview, gather relevant information, and resolve issues in a non-confrontational manner.

Working Conditions
This is a Full-Time position, requiring a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, 40 hours per week. The Response Centre is a 24/7, 365 days per year operation, and employees will be scheduled on a rotational basis for shifts that are days, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.
