Job Title: Full-Time Security Guard

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and patrons, maintaining effective relationships and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Patrols and Security: Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, noting any concerns and taking prompt action to resolve them.
  • Emergency Response: Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner, de-escalating crisis situations and providing support as needed.
  • Crowd Control and Eviction: Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals on site.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports, to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
  • First Aid and Medical Response: Provide first aid and medical response when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on site.
  • Communication and Technology: Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities and maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Lost and Found: Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries, ensuring that all items are properly documented and returned to their owners.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and emergency services.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional service and support to clients and patrons.
  • Observational Skills: Strong observational skills to effectively monitor and respond to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk 18/20km and stairs, ensuring that you can effectively perform the duties of a Security Guard.
