We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at JPS TILES AND RENOVATIONS LTD.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.
Key Responsibilities:- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be covered with tiles, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
- Mortar Application: Mix and apply mortar, cement, or other adhesives to secure tiles in place.
- Tile Installation: Set tiles in place, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Grouting: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Tile Repair: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
