Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Travelodge Golden. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Plan and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate contract services, such as laundry and linen supply, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and conduct performance evaluations and appraisals as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and supervise in-house laundry services.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, and ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out.
  • Hire and dismiss staff, and provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
